The new head office for Abreu Advogados has rehabilitated and recovered the former centennial building of the General Archives of the Lisbon Harbor Administration, located in front of the place where the future Lisbon cruise terminal will be born.
The property has receives a structural intervention work which will allow a new work concept, cemented on historical and innovative foundations where the interaction of the nearly 200 Abreu Advogados employees with their clients will be constant throughout the two floors. In the 4.200 sqm. of land area one may find: 7400 sqm. of gross construction area, 12000 m3 of rehabilitated wooden structures, 44 roof windows plus 100 façade windows of which 30 have a river front view, around 100 offices and 10 meeting rooms, leisure areas and 100 meters of front façade facing the Tagus river.
The new head office for Abreu Advogados, comprehended in the urban rehabilitation of Lisbon’s riverfront – in the heart of its popular culture, Alfama – represents still an approach to Portuguese brands, good environmental practices and social sustainability.
